Kim Jon Designs creates floral designs for weddings, parties and events. In addition, they offer full wedding consultant and day of coordination services.
The husband and wife team of Kim Solomito
and Jon Malkmes have over 40 years of combined experience in the floral
industry. Kim studied at The New York Botanical Gardens and has been
a floral designer since 1983. Jon was raised in a family of florists
and rose growers. Educated at Williams College, he then pursued his
artistic talents. Joining the family business in 1973, then owning his
own florist, he came to the Hamptons in 1985.
Here Kim & Jon combined their talents
and opened The Fickle Pickle Florist in Southampton. After operating
the retail florist for 12 years, Kim Jon Designs was conceived in 1997
specializing exclusively in private floral design.
Kim Jon Designs has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, New York Weddings, Long Island Weddings, the Wedding Channel, and Wedding Bells. Look for the Knot weddings in 2006.
